Christmas at our Apartment

This isn’t my first time decorating an apartment for Christmas since I went to BYU for 4 years, but it’s the first time John and I have been able to decorate our own apartment together. I figured I’d better document it. 3 9
I love Lindsay Letters. Everything she does is perfect. I didn’t feel like buying frames so I just used washi tape.7 11
The snow globes were a Christmas project this year. I used bottlebrush trees from the Dollar Store and kosher salt. 3 4 12
The wreath was another project. Evergreen wreath forms are really inexpensive at Hobby Lobby, so I picked one up (with a 40% off coupon) and glued in pheasant feathers, berries, and pinecones. So easy.56
The nativity is one of my favorites. I found it at a little shop in Nassau on our cruise last spring. 8 10
I made the orange and grapefruit slice ornaments a few years ago and they're starting to look a little sad, but I still like them.

The Santa ornament is something I picked up in Scotland during my study abroad. Isn’t his tartan so cute? 13
16The white ornaments were made this year out of clay with a pine branch pressed into them.14
And the gingerbread men are cinnamon ornaments I made my first year at BYU. 15 19 17 18
Everything smells so good and feels so festive that I can’t wait for Christmas to actually be here. Now if only it would snow. . .

    1. You'll love it. It's the best. But if you're anything like me you'll plan all this awesome stuff and then realize that being married=having no money. Hahaha. I'll help you deal shop. ;)

  2. Ahh I love all of your decorations!!!! This just makes me miss being able to decorate an apartment. I don't have any of my decorations in Jakarta and it is way too expensive to buy them here. There are so many cute things I want now!

    1. Aww I wish you had your decorations! But being in Jakarta is way cooler than being able to put up some stockings. I am jealous. :)
