Spring

Spring is finally here! Everett and I have been spending most of our mornings outside. I garden while he sits in his stroller and watches, and usually Remi is out there too (whining to be off his leash, in case you thought that scene was too picturesque). I'm starting a few varieties of seeds this year (johnny jump ups and three types of iceland poppies) and I'm expecting a big order of tubers and bulbs soon (iris, lilies, giant dinner plate dahlias, and delphinium). My goal is to have enough flowers that I can cut some to put in jars in the house, give some away, and still have plenty outside. I've never had much of a green thumb so we'll see if anything survives. ;)
